February half term is one of our busiest weeks at the Royal Armouries Museum Leeds. The Museum comes alive with superheroes everywhere! From ticketed shows to drop in have-a-go activities, superhero meet and greets to our bustling craft space. This year we are excited to also introduce a superhero obstacle course and face painting.
To help us facilitate all these amazing activities, we are looking for volunteers who like to interact with our visitors, who are confident working with a family audience and love a bit of superhero fun. From encouraging visitors to take part, managing queues and helping to make our donation ask, our volunteers play an integral role in ensuring our visitors have a fantastic visit.
This is brilliant opportunity would suit those who want to help us improve our visitor experience, those who want to gain some experience and confidence being part of a large and busy event and those who want to gain an insight into how the forward-facing museum teams operate.
Applicants must be happy to work in a busy and noisy environment where we are expecting large numbers of visitors with small children. You will also be stood up for most of the day.
